Labour is embedded in our everyday interaction with computers and networks. Our interpersonal communication on mobile devices is compounded into profitable data by corporations, exploiting users as labour. In Semiotics of Human-Computer Interaction, the performer is both a sequence of numbers and a complicit user who enables this transaction.
